PK AirFinance originates over $1,000,000,000 of new business in 2000.

PK AirFinance ended the year 2000 with over $1,000,000,000 in new
origination. In 71 separate transactions involving 24 different airlines,
PK AirFinance provided aircraft backed loans and acquired secondary
aircraft backed debt. Net of syndication and other risk transfers, PK
AirFinance's portfolio reached around $1,400,000,000 in total debt volume.
The average life of the portfolio has increased to 46 months and the weighted
average age of the collateral aircraft is only 7.5 years. PK president Nils
Hallerstrom comments: "We are very pleased with our first year in the
GECAS family. We have access to tremendous resources and our borrowing customers
appreciate the underwriting ability".
